I would give this an enthusiastic 3.5 stars. I thoroughly enjoyed the slow-growing relationship from this new-to-me author. I will be reading her catalog!

I’ve read some Balogh before, but I wanted to go through an actual series. I didn’t love it as much as I thought I would, based on a number of friends’ enthusiastic responses.

Re-read by audiobook As I was listening to this book I started remembering more and more. I realized I liked it more when I read the book as opposed to listening to it. I'm glad narrators are hired at Audible but sometimes when you've heard them so often, . . . I'm going to lower this rating ...

I look forward to the next book in this series.I was a bit miffed at how long we waited to find out who Con is and what his relationship was to Jon and Elliot. But it was another good way to keep me intrigued. I'm betting ...

Although I'm interested to find out and probably will read the remaining book in this series, I found no romance or chemistry between the hero and heroine in this book.

I enjoyed this one. It talked about overcoming the fear of being hurt in the past and being able to love again. Naturally it was set in England and while I don't recall seeing a date it was in the days of Dukes and Viscounts, of having one's first Season in London. It was refreshing and being me, ...
