For more reviews, check out my blog: Craft-CycleI am so torn in how to rate this book. While there were aspects that I absolutely loved, others things haven't aged well. One thing I loved about this short, fun, whimsical book is that each chapter reads like a short story. There isn't necessarily a pl...

I like this book more than the first. I didn't find Pippi so annoying in this one. These books do have quite the nostalgic element to them for me. I loved each of Pippi's adventures as a child. :)

I definitely enjoyed this one much more when I was a child. As an adult, I find Pippi annoying at times. It's still a fun book, but there are other children's books I'd much rather read over again.

Pippi Longstocking, is such a cute book to read to your class!! Pippi is a little girl who has bright read hair, and silly pigtails! She is super wacky and goes one adventure after another! Pippi does like being told what to do by her parents, but she is such a sweet little girl! With this book, you...

Me and the boy just loved this. This was a reread from childhood for me, new for him. Pippi's adventures, and mistakes are just plain fun. This book gave him and memories, and time we'll spent together. What a blast.

Pippi Longstocking has and will forever be my favorite childhood book. I loved Pippi when I was a kid. Now, I am reading it again and I still laugh like crazy and have the best time reading it! Pippi is a nine year old girl who lives in a house called Villa Villkulla with a monkey, a horse, and no p...

Yet another book that’s even more entertaining when you reread it as an adult. In fact, we need Pippi more than ever now. I did, anyway. At a time in my life when it’s too easy for me to feel cynical and angry pretty much nonstop, it was a relief to revisit Pippi’s humor, honesty, complex simplicity...

Genre: Children / Manners / Adventure / Humor Year Published: 1950 Year Read: 1998 Series: Pippi Longstocking #1 To be honest, I have heard of “Pippi Longstocking” when I was little, but I only saw the movies of the little red haired heroine, but then again I might have read this book when I...

pippi used to be my role model when i was little, which is a bit embarrassing to admit. i wanted her life, her confidence, her charming personality, her bizarre approaches to life, her unusual nature altogether. this is one of the best children's books ever written and it deserves to be enjoyed and ...
