A former child actor (Scarecrow & Mrs. King), Greg Morton is a novelist (The Fury of the Bear, To Catch a Fox), adventure filmmaker and host of The Greg Morton Show podcast, whose unique perspective has challenged him to push the boundaries of what it means to live a balanced life.In 2012 he released the autobiographical "Lifting a Foot Forward: A Lesson in Balance". The book follows Greg's life from his early days as a child actor to his introduction to poetry and writing, his experiences as an athlete to his life as a business professional. He recalls the special moments in his life that lead up to the ultimate life- changing event; his having to be airlifted off of a mountainside while alpine climbing in January 2008. His memoir takes readers on the journey that became the catalyst to following his dreams and living a balanced life. Also in 2012, Greg released his much anticipated "A House in a Field of Reeds". The collection of short stories highlights each season of the year, taking a whimsical look at the world of fantasy and adventure. It begins with the tale of a pixie and her best friend, a beekeeper, as they walk along a path and meet a mysterious stranger and together they discover why spring won't arrive in "Mrs. Potter's Lullaby". The story of summer follows the adventures of Evers and Indira as they journey home on the longest day of the year in "Along the Rail to Eiderdown". As autumn arrives, learn if Wyatt's love for his apple trees will help him discover the secret behind the mysterious harvest in "Aiden in the Apple Orchard". Finally, discover if a King will fall to an empire or if his legend and the greatest gift of all endure even the harshest of winters in "The Kingdom of Winter". "A House in a Field of Reeds" is a look back to the classics of folk lore and fairy tales, a perfect opportunity to gather the whole family and discover the adventures together. Greg's love of poetry and photography come together in his personal collection "the untitled poems", released in 2011. Greg is also currently working on the next installment of the Virgil "Bear" Ryan series...At age ten, Greg Morton was an actor working opposite Hollywood icons Kate Jackson and Beverly Garland, appearing in all four seasons of the CBS hit "Scarecrow and Mrs. King".
