I notice the same thing on my read shelf. I see already 3 books where the translator is listed first on my shelf. Looks like the unwanted rereading issue is fixed. I marked more books as read (in the same way as before) and did not get unwanted rereads anymore. Thank you for the update/fix.

- Wild initally was marked as "currently reading" with start date 18 March. - I finished reading 24 March. Yes, happened today when I marked "Wild" as read. Maybe important to know, usually is choose "Set today's date" and change the day to yesterday or the day before (in stead of having to choose year, month and day).
