Hamlet. What would the english language be without this play? The lines in this play reverberate through the english language down the centuries.I'm usually pretty good at being able to read shakespearean english and wring meaning from the lines, but this one was somehow tougher than most. The first Shakespeare I've read since High School. Book One of my personal challenge to read 12 Shakespeare plays this year. This was very enjoyable and easier to understand than I'd expected.

It was one of my institutional texts, so had to read it. But I didn't understand why Hamlet is so popular till this date! I like other less famous plays by Shakespeare more!

3.5 stars. All the good stuff happens at the end! It was extremely hard for me to stay awake during this one. I think I was spoiled by all the action in Macbeth.

"To be or not to be, That is the question!"It's fascinating how these lines describe Life with all it's complications! This also shows us the genius of Shakespeare.Hamlet, is one of the most perfect and touching works of literature ever:)I read it many times. And to be honest, I didn't read it so ma...
