A very short and sweet story about a young writer who thinks he has a heart attack. In the aftermath he discovers a glimpse of possibility with the doctor who takes care of him. Very well written short story, that I probably appreciate doubly after all the bad christmas novellas I read for a challen...

His personality and behavior screamed for someone to come rescue him, protect him from all the bad things in the world. I'm glad Jacob didn't turn out to be some kind of murderer but rather a caring doctor (an...

A good short read although a bit too short. Ford was easy to relate to and Jacob was the kind of character everyone wished they could have just come swoop in and make everything better. An encouraging story about taking chances.Love the cover. It's really cute and suitable to the story.

It's a sweet albeit too short story. Maybe Mr. Lanyon should consider using this as prequel or something. There's definitely romance (or lust?) developing bewteen Ford and Jacob!
