2.5 shifters are not really my thing, neither are dead lovers
This is teetering between a 2 and 3 star book. I'm just a bit tired of the 'dead past lover' trope where there has to be healing and trust to move over. I guess I like my relationships a bit more dysfunctional.

I liked it. It had cool and interesting characters (Team Dex!!!) and some great banter. The crime plot was a bit thin and predictable, but still solid I think. The world-building was mostly done in an introduction, which worked out well, because the reader knew exactly what's what from the start. ...
