Want to learn more about history, but don’t think you have the time? Think again.Henry VIII is perhaps the best known English King. On the throne from 1509 until 1547, he was initially an athletic young man who oversaw a tumultuous period in English history. Infamous for taking a total of six wives in his quest for a male heir, he also broke with Rome and oversaw the Reformation. He became obese in later life, and suffered prolonged bouts of poor health before his death in 1547. The Very Brief History series is intended to give the reader a short, concise account of the most important events in world history. Each book provides the reader with the essential facts concerning a particular event or person; no distractions, just the essential facts, allowing the reader to master the subject in the shortest time possible. With The Very Brief History series, anyone can become a history expert!

0.5 You are most likely wondering
Well, you are most likely wondering why I read this after not liking the author's Anne Boleyn. See, I picked this up at the same time when both were offered for free. And this one is worth than the Anne B. one because he gets Anne and Katherine Howard confused. Avoid, Avoid.
