I bought this a while ago. I was a Clinton supporter. (I have always loved Bernie Sanders and voted for him in the primary, but by the time it got to my state, it didn't matter, and I happily took time off to campaign for Hillary once that was settled.) I strongly believe she got short shrift in the...
I was mad, happy, sad, and back to mad again by the time I finished this memoir. "What Happened" is Hillary Clinton's comments on the recent 2016 United States Presidential Election. Or as I and my friends started to call it, that farce that we all know was rigged (Hi Russia) but not in the way many...
This book is to show kids that it takes all of us, a diverse population which includes adults and kids to do things. The people in the book are working on a community project together. There's a line in it that says something about kids not coming with instructions (or something like that), and it...
I really enjoyed this. It helped to soothe me. I was not happy how everything went down. She gives her side of everything, but it isn't a crying story. It tells what she did wrong and what other circumstances went wrong. It tells how she got over it, things she turned to in order to feel better...
I wasn't going to read this book. I'm still trying to pretend that what happened on November 8th, 2016 didn't happen. However, seeing the vitriol directed at her for just DARING to write a book about her experience and not disappearing into the night in shame made me want a read it and so I did. Bes...
I started reading this book because I was assigned specific chapters of it for my leadership class, and since it was somewhere deep within my to-read list anyway, I decided that I might as well read the entire thing. That said, it took be about eight months to get through this book in its entirety, ...
I've sort of giving up on this book. Not only is it pretty effin' long, but most of the book feels like one long campaign trail. Honestly, after this past election, I don't think I can handle anymore campaigning until 2012.
The book can be tedious to read. She shows a serious lack of humor. There is speculation that it was ghost-written. I suppose one should read it to find out details. It was only ok. And I like Hillary.
