Ok we're going to see how short and sweet I can keep this because I'm revisiting a few favorites on audio at the moment. So here goes... I first read this book back in May of 2016 and I really, really enjoyed it. Here's the link to my original review because hey, who needs to reinvent the wheel r...

It's been a long time since I've read a book by this author. So when I stumbled across this one sitting on my e-reader I couldn't resist the temptation. 'Home the Hard Way' is a mystery with a definite romance thrown in and I love this combination. The story is set in a small town called Palladia...

Well, this is a tough one to rate for me. Firstly, I want to say that I loved the writing here. It was eloquent, flowing right, hitting me right where I wanted it to. So, that was not the issue. I also liked the MCs. Dare, going back home after a wrong decision wrecked havoc with his life, has a har...

And here is more detailed but no less rantish review from DA. Dare Buckley has come home—or at least, he’s come back to Palladian, the small town he left as a teenager. After a major lapse in judgment forced him to resign from the Seattle PD, Palladian is the only place that’ll hire him. There’s ...

So I will be honest - I was tempted by this book a lot when it first came out few months ago (I think it was few months ago), because mystery and I love mysteries but reviews were strange. Most complained about unwarned for BDSM, complaint which I did not feel much about (because as much as I disli...

This book came out in July of 2014 and I've had it in my TBR pile since then. Why did I leave it unread for so long! *LOL* Seriously! I was up very late last night reading it, wanting to finish, but I just couldn't - my eyes kept closing despite everything, so the first thing I did this morning,...

2.5 stars...maybe.I liked this at moments, but it was mostly problematic. Stunted character development, abrupt ending, entirely too many secondary characters. The kink bits were fine, but the transition to relationship was nonexistent. Meh, I say.

Overall, I liked the book. I didn't love it or 'really' like it, though. It has a decent mystery aspect, but much of this becomes as repetitive as the internal struggles of both Finn and Dare. There are points where the mystery and investigations overwhelm the character story, then it switches and i...

I’m having a very hard time trying to figure out what to say about this book. It swept me from one extreme to another while I was reading. There were portions of this book I adored and drank in as slowly as I could just to savour them. And then there were sections of the story I couldn’t get through...
