tl;drI found this story interesting, and an enjoyable read.Description: Mallory killed her boyfriend Brian. Since then, she’s been stalked by Brian’s mother, as well as being haunted throughout the night. When Mallory’s father suggests they send her to his old boarding school to get her away from th...

I think this is supposed to be a psychological thriller, but it just isn't thrilling enough to categorize as a thriller. Hysteria is full of mystery though, which is what drew me in. I just think it could have been written in a far creepier way. I wasn't impressed with the use of the "f" word so mu...

A nice mix of creepy, romantic and exciting. I'm probably going to have dreams of crazy, psycho boyfriends pounding down doors with knives, but hey, it'll be worth it. This is definitely the sort of book I was looking for when I went searching for mystery-thrillers! 4/5 stars

Hysteria was high up on my reading list well before it came out so when I first got my library card it was one of the first books I requested, and then patiently(um, not) waited for my hold to come through. I had heard mixed things about Hysteria but that didn’t stop me, I love a good mystery thrill...

This review has been x posted at The Book TwinsThis was my first book by Megan Miranda. I had heard about this for ages before I actually bought it. I was glad I did. While this may be a contemporary book, I fell into the world which Megan created. I loved the mystery to it. That's what draws me in...

I liked this book well enough. Some part of it were crazy. I felt like I was going insane alone with the main character, Mallory. The book is about Mallory, who killed her boyfriend in self defense. She is sent to a boarding school to get away from everyone in her town, especially the mother of her b...

Via LectusI didn't enjoy Hysteria as much as Fracture but Miranda's writing style just keeps me glued to the pages. So Mallory killed her boyfriend and she can't remember exactly what happened (typical). To cool things off in the neighborhood, she's sent to boarding school. There she finds the typic...

Initial reaction: You know those times when you start off really liking a book but then as you go along it feels like a balloon that deflates as time goes on, which by the end it's no longer floating but barely tracing the ground? That's what this book did to me. Man, I sincerely thought I'd come...

This book holds quite a bit of mystery. You never really know what's really happening to Mallory. Is she crazy, or are there really ghosts of the incident with Brian haunting her? Mallory is a girl that is beyond confused. She doesn't remember anything but the blood the night Brian died. Not on...
