Read in 12th grade for a world history project. I made a Hypercard (think very early version of Powerpoint for Mac) presentation on the book and the Julio-Claudian emperors.It was later that I'd watch the fabulous British TV adaptation starring Derek Jacobi, and featuring Patrick Stewart with hair.

I enjoyed it quite a lot. A mixture of funny, serious, and quite tragic, it provides a personal glimpse into Roman history.
