Becky and Cal are inseparable siblings. When Becky finds out she's pregnant, Cal is the most supportive member of their family. The two end up on a road trip that takes them by a field of tall grass out in the middle of nowhere. They happen to hear a lost young boy calling for help somewhere in the ...

For more reviews, check out my blog: Craft-CycleOkay read. I listened to the audiobook on a car ride. I think actually reading as opposed to listening to it may have been better for me, because I just can't take it seriously when grown men try to read in children's voices. It always sounds kind of c...

Not too much to say about this short story besides there is no happy ending. I am warning you there is no happy ending. Also don't read and eat at the same time. I repeat, don't read and eat at the same time. King and Hill do a very good job with developing Cal and Becky (Irish twins) and my heart a...

(Note: This is an old review that I'm adding to my Booklikes account. Not sure if I feel the same why now as I did when I first reviewed it, but this gives me a point of reference should I choose to revisit it.) "In the Tall Grass" is one of the more disturbing tales I've read. This is the first ...

The product description for this book wasn't honest, and that kind of ticks me off. The way it's listed on Amazon, it looks like you're going to get a novella-length story written by Stephen King and his son Joe Hill. There is no mention of the fact that the last 25% of the eBook's length is taken u...

This is exactly why i dislike this author. It started off strong, confident in its lush descriptions and covert eeriness. I was scared, just a bit, for the characters and really wanted something less abstract and more concrete at the end. It just didn't slide from middle to end in the manner i wish ...

"In the Tall Grass" is one of the most disturbing tales I've ever read. This is the first Stephen King story, or Joe Hill story for that matter, that actually turned my stomach. The writing is vivid, filled with brutal simplicity that drives the horror home. I didn't feel all that attached to either...
