A fantastic collection of short stories from Ms Lahiri, focusing mainly on the lives of immigrants from the Indian subcontinent. She brings to surface the mixed emotions of people in uncomfortable situations and new places. Really lovely.

3.5 stars. a few of these stories were excellent and all were good. i'm looking forward to reading more by her.
