Jan Coffey(a.k.a. Nikoo & Jim McGoldrick) Nikoo and Jim McGoldrick are storytellers with a checkered past.From the submarine shipyards of Electric Boat in Groton, Connecticut, and the clubs of Rodeo Drive, to the forges of Pennsylvania and the electronics manufacturers of Massachusetts, these two have spent their lives gathering material for their novels. Nikoo, a manufacturing engineer, and Jim, who has a Ph.D. in sixteenth-century British literature, wrote their first full-length novel in 1994. Since then, Jim and Nikoo have written over thirty novels and two works of nonfiction. They write under the pseudonyms of May McGoldrick and Jan Coffey.These prolific and popular authors have been the recipients of numerous awards for their work. Serious content issues for a teen. Interesting elements but not something I would let my children read or felt comfortable with myself. Reads like an adult romance with teen characters.

I thought this was was totally cute! There were times when it was light, a chunk when it went a bit heavy, but the overall feel was fun. 4.5 stars. Really liked the hero and heroine. Interesting plot, too. One that was really intriguing to think about. Must now go look for its predecessor, Ted's story.
