Dr. Jay Levinson worked for the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency for ten years before moving to Israel in 1981. He then spent a twenty year career at the Israel Police, National Headquarters, Jerusalem. Now retired and working as a freelance writer, he has written several hundred articles for the (UK) Jewish Tribune and other publications, chapters in various anthologies, and a number of books. He has lectured on a wide range of topics in more than three dozen countries in four languages. Dr. Levinson is also an Adjunct Professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
