I've been writing since I was 8 ~ and now I'm approximately 127... I try to write books that kids will want to read more than once ~ and from the fan letters I get, I seem to be succeeding! My latest children's publication "Full Moon" won the Welsh Tir na n-Og Award for the best English language children's book written in 2012 ~ the second time I've won it. The first time was in 2006 for "Tirion's Secret Journal". The second book in the "Full Moon" series, "Totally Batty" is with Pont, my publishers, right now, and I'm working on the third at the moment. As well as writing, I'm fairly fanatical about getting children writing, too, which is why three or four times a year I travel from my home in France back to Wales and spend a couple of weeks workshopping in schools and talking to children in libraries. Luckily, I'm subsidised by Literature Wales when I visit, so schools can afford me ~ and I can afford to visit them! The next two books in the "Magic Apostrophe" series ~ "What Part of No Don't you Understand?" and "Tree of Light" will be coming out some time, but the Big News is that I now have a sequence of two adult historical novels in print and available in paperback or on Kindle. "Silver Fox" begins in the year 1400, when the annexation of a small piece of Welsh land by an English nobleman triggers off Owain Glyndwr's War of Welsh Independence. The story is about three members of his household: Elffin, his youngest son; Rhiannon and Llewelyn, his foster children, and how they are affected by the war and their changing emotions and feelings for each other...I'm currently working on
