After years of working (then owning) our family business, I was faced with months of time on my hands; something I hadn't experienced as an adult. That's when I decided to fulfill one of my life-long ambitions - to write and publish a Mystery. Little did I know, it was so much fun I kept on going until it turned into a five (then six) book series."The Secrets of Pepin View Manor" was published in 2009, and was soon followed by the sequel "Sanctuary at Pepin View Manor." The next year I added "Resolve at Pepin View Manor." Having learned a lot from my self-publishing experiences, I reedited "Secrets" in June 2011 and then added "Fatal Fall" and "Cold Kills" later that year. "Okay, that series is done. Now what?" I decided to explore my SciFi side by publishing "Chosen One - Earth's Treasure," a story I started twenty years previous, and kept playing with over time, but I was never satisfied. I love the story of "First Contact," so I polished it up a bit and added that touching ending. The next year I wrote "Absorbed." About a new life form, right here on earth that is brought to life unexpectedly. It also takes place in the Lake Pepin area, and takes advantage of the unique landscape and regional history. In December of 2014, filled with nostalgia, I re-edited all the books in the Pepin View Manor Mystery series, and because I enjoyed my characters and the small town of Mill Valley so much, I added "Life Changes" to complete the series (again.)In August of 2015, I re-edited Secrets so much that I decided to change the name to 'Pepin View Manor.' I should stop playing with it now, as I've re-edited it so many times. Sooner or later I just have to say it's good enough.I'm not sure what my next project will be, but I'd like to do another Mystery.Dear readers, I love hearing from you, and I'm grateful for your support as well as your suggestions on how to improve my writing.
