Some parts very dated ("The essential role of the father"), but the heart of it was useful and had a lot of good examples. I think this is helping me help my work kiddos.
Recommended by a counselor. A few of the self tests were useful, but overall I didn't need the tests to predict the outcomes. The basic ideas presented are valid, but it really could have been a magazine article rather than a whole book. A lot of the examples elicited an eye-rolling response from me...
