Up front I will say that I think this was a lot better than his previous book, Death Troopers, which I also read. Having said that, it is a book I liked, but it was not a great book. Nice popcorn kind of entertainment. I don't really have much negative to say about it. I did find the zombie as resul...

A curious idea: zombies and Star Wars. The SW franchise pretty much has the skill to grab whatever genre may be popular at the time and make a Star Wars tale out of it. That's what all those Republic Commando stories were, for instance; they were off the fact that a while back all those squad-based ...

I'm not quite sure when this one went from a pretty cool book to a meh, but at some point, it lost me. I was totally on board for the first half, and even through the first couple of hits. After that, it pretty much lost the appeal for me.I never felt like it rose above the 'we're going to take out ...

Meh. Interesting premise, but pleased with the ending. Jan and Chewie felt like they were only thrown in for a Star Warsy feel.

A riveting, non-stop thrill ride of a horror novel. Exceptionally well written, though the plot seemed a tad too derivative at times, and the ending was a bit of a disappointment. Still, all in all, well worth the trip!

Great set up, build up, starts ominous, then creepy, drifts to scary and speeds along to the climax - which then becomes a huge plane crash of half-baked storylines, cliches and convenient resolutions all thrown together with a sappy denouement on top. Whew.An excellent book until the last 30 pages...

This had a very different feel than a lot of Star Wars books. It really could have been set in almost any space-based sci-fi world, despite the Star Wars "words" thrown in every now and then.Until Han and Chewie show up. On the one hand, they are very big reminders that you are in the Star Wars un...
Konnici na Liriite - Chevalier Du Lys
This was my first book in the Star Wars Universe, besides the novelizations of the six movies. There were a couple of them I wanted to read like Death Star, Darth Bane Trilogy, or any book where the main characters are Stormtroopers, but when this book was released I bought it after reading good rev...

When I first started this book my first reaction was "ah geez ... another I kidnapped your baby - do as I say and everything will be well" story. I was mistaken. I turned into quite a good and fast moving ghost story. Not a totally original concept, but it seemed to take the best of previous attempt...
