Nice anthology of urban fantasy stories. Many stories from series we love but told from the perspective of often secondary characters.

Another historical this one set in ancient Rome. Young Decius Caecilius Metellus is charged with looking into two murders in his district in Rome but finds they might be part of a larger conspiracy. Simon Vance is fast becoming one of my favorite narrators.

The book is something of an epic fictional biogra...
