Series: Commonwealth Saga #2 It's finally over. The ending wasn't even all that interesting; stuff just happened and then things finally ended. Even the stuff with the Prime aliens and the Starflyer wasn't all that interesting in this one, so everything that bugged me about the world Hamilton crea...

Wow!! This book (and I include the continuation novel Judas Unchained) is the kitchen sink of sci-fi ideas and implementation all incorporated in a highly entertaining story. This was the first novel I read from Peter F. Hamilton and he gives you plenty of aliens, a new twist on travel between worlds...

If you have read Pandora's Star, first of the Void Trilogy which is a direct sequel to the Commonwealth Saga, so far it is wildly entertaining.

Be warned that this book is part two. Pandora's Star is part one. You really need to read them both (in order) to get the whole story.Pandora's Star introduced the Commonwealth and the alien race known as the Primes, the alien threat known as the Starflyer, several other aliens, and the large cast o...
