So being a good girl I saved my dessert for last and it was worth every yummy last bite. I've come to the end of the road with this series and while I enjoyed them all...yes, some more than others but still I was glad I listened to them all. These stories aren't connected by the place or character...
She Thought What?!?! Rants, Raves, and In-Betweens
This wasn't but just short and sweet. Kinda cute. Typical Mary Calmes.

I am so surprised! I've had a funky time with Mary Calmes in the past. She's not on my auto-buy list, far from it. But I heard this was going to be good and guess what?IT WAS!Boone, a smart art gallery owner meets and falls for Scott a chef but Scott doesn't have a clue. Their friendship is the real...

"This is the beginning of my dream; you want to take a ride with me?"A Mary Calmes 'friends to lovers' that made me cry like a big sap. It's the first time she's made me cry. It's also a growly alpha POV so I for one LOVED it. Boone and Scott are all kinds of adorable and yummy. It's got all the Mary...

Boone and Scott are in love with one another and neither one can admit it out loud. They settle instead, for being best friends. Boone owns an art gallery, and Scott is a chef at a popular restaurant. Boone has something of a complicated past. He does not talk about it and he tries very hard no...

A little dark, a lot sweet. This story is set in one of my favorite cities in the world. While I missed out on having a character with a N'awlins drawl, I completely enjoyed best friends to lovers. Just long enough and sweet enough.

DNF at 42%I guess there is a reason why I stopped reading Mary Calmes. Taste and preference change over time, right? Her stories just don't do it for me anymore. So this one became another 'failure-to-connect' story with me. Too many characters going in and out aside from our main characters (let's ...

Typical Mary Calmes's character. I can't help with the Joryness. But in this book, Jory is Boone. A gentle giant who's always pick the wrong time to worked up the nerves to ask Scott out because he's already with someone new. Boone was afraid of losing his best friend of two years over a hot one nig...

A sweet short sweet novella about friends who realize their feelings go beyond friendship after having a taste of dessert that tastes delicious if shared with the right person. It has all the trademark feel of Mary's other books with fun banter, back stories and alpha males.

So yay I can now feed addictions without paying extra for them lol. Now the only reason I am reviewing this one really is to compare with Marie Sexton's part of this anthology/series, whatever. And it is not much of the review because I am just going to say "typical Mary Calmes" and be done with it ...
