I spent my childhood in Ohio and Rhode Island, where I wrote some fledgling stories in longhand/pencil. What a relief when I finally graduated to a laser printer! Meanwhile, we moved to California so I headed to Cal (UC Berkeley) for college, where I met my future husband, and together we survived law school at UC Davis. We've been married and practicing law ever since while having two great kids - a son and a daughter. I've had more than a dozen novels (and a bunch of novellas) published in genres including time-travel/fantasy, historical romance, legal thriller, romantic suspense, light science fiction and young adult. Most recently, my historical romances are being re-released in electronic format; my first young adult sci-fi was released (MECH GIRL); another time-travel story is in the works; and more science fiction is on the way. Full disclosure, I watch a ton of TV and movies, and virtually all of those are sci-fi, paranormal or irreverent comedy. I'm not looking for angsty or heartwarming fare. I leave that to Hallmark, which I'm told does a fine job of it. I just want a rousingly good story - to read and to write. Oh, and I'm a Niners fan and a wanna-be archaeologist, so be forewarned.
