Katherine Koller lives in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and writes for radio, stage and film. Her one-act comedies have been produced across Canada, and some can be found in Taking the Stage: Selections of Plays by Canadian Women (Nuage), Three on the Boards (Signature) and Instant Applause (Playwrights Canada Press). Coal Valley: The Making of a Miner is included in The Alberta Advantage (Playwrights Canada Press). The Seed Savers premiered at Workshop West Theatre in Edmonton, Alberta. Besides plays, Katherine also writes fiction and libretti for ballet and dance. She teaches in the Department of English and FIlm Studies at the University of Alberta and is a member of the Playwrights Guild of Canada.
