I am still in search of a gripping contemporary romantic suspense novel/series. Now here's the thing. Julie Garwood is much beloved in Romancelandia so I felt pretty confident in trying her contemporary thrillers out. And it didn't seem like they HAD to be read in order, so that was a plus as well...

John Paul has tracked Monk to Aspen, Colorado, a year after he wreaked havoc in Louisiana. Meanwhile, Avery Delaney is trying to find her aunt, Carrie Salvetti,...

one thing I liked about this book was it wasn't focused on the relationship of the male and female leads to the exclusion of the mystery. It was a bit ho-hum though. I liked it but I didn't love it.
