This one was gorgeous and made me cry. Ultimately, it was about how all humans are interconnected and even a minor action might play a role in another's life.

I have just really recently finished reading this amazing book. I didn't want to put it down, but I forced myself to wait it out, by reading one person at a time. I could have finished this the same day, but I couldn't, I didn't want to finish this book right away. For those of you who don't know...

A nice concept. The book is pretty self explained by the title. A unique perception of heaven. I enjoyed the way that Eddie's life was explained through the people who he affected. The book reminded me of "It's a Wonderful Life" in that an average man discovers how important he truly was and how his life affected others.

After dying, Eddie views his funeral and reaction from his friends, and relives parts of his past as five different people take h...

This is a very short novel I read in a couple of hours. In spare simple prose, it begins at the end of 83-year old Eddie's life, the first chapter tells us about the last hour of his life. It's his birthday, but he's working at the job he's had for decades at Ruby Pier amusement park maintaining the...
