After the slightly less funny collection When You Are Engulfed in Flames, (not that it's bad to be slightly less funny!), this one is back to the generally wacky outlook on life that I love from Sedaris.I admit to kind of skipping over the shorter pieces that are more overtly fiction than his usual ...

Review originally posted [here]. Really loved listening to this audiobook and hearing David Sedaris himself read his essays. It brought the stories alive and made me enjoy them much more than if I would have read these on my own.

What could produce more music, magic, and mayhem than a Broadway show? Sam Harris’ book of anecdotes about growing up gay, fabulous, and talented is funny, heartfelt, and self-deprecating. (As a point of interest, one of the essays does have owls in it, but nowhere, at least that I could fi...

Getting distracted by my overwhelming fiction TBR. Setting this aside for the meantime.

David's mah dawg, yo! I love this little guy!I always listen to him read his own stuff in audiobook form, as opposed to reading it myself. I can't do his little elfin voice justice. Let's Explore Diabetes with Owls is more of the same Sedaris: observations skewed by his quirky worldview, which produ...
