Very interesting book. Some I knew a lot I just learned about not only Keith Richards but the rest of the band, and other Musicians mentioned in the book. Skip the part about gross things they would do for laughs, it's really gross.
Petra made me do it, really. To say I don’t care for The Rolling Stones would be an understatement. Hate the music, never thought they were any good, I would never give them a first, much less a second thought. The power of her great review of [b:Life|9439303|Life|Keith Richards|http://d.gr-assets.c...
so, i didn't actually finished because my playaway kept dying on me. but i had made it about 4/5 of the way through despite wanting to be done after the first couple of chapters, so whatever. not worth any more time.
I listened to the audio version of this book. It was very well read by Johnny Depp, Joe Hurley and Keef himself. It was helped by my having to make a few trips back to The West Country – 9 hour round trips on my own. I was able to switch off an go into the story.I’ve previously read a couple of Bria...

I know he upset poor Mick, but this book is wonderful. I just feel like he's right beside me, telling me all the great stories about his life and the early days of rock 'n roll.
I would recommend listening to this book rather than reading it (visit audible.com - you won't regret it). Although the book tells Keith Richard's story chronologically, it's more of a stream of conciousness that I found easier to listen to rather than read. I did try to read the book first actual...
I am enjoying Keith's story, just taking a little break from it. He gives a lot of detail about how to play the guitar which goes right over my head. Finally finished. In the beginning, I found Keith to be egotistical and a little hard to take. I was frequently furious with him for the off-handed wa...
How in the hell did this guy live so long? After Jimi and Janis died, all the smart money was on Keith Richard to be Rock n' Roll's next burnt-out flame. He fooled us all. And his secret to a long and exciting life?He was damn lucky.Maybe not in his music. He worked hard to be the rock n' roll geniu...
