Critic and poet Lisa L. Moore is the author of two books about women, gender and sexuality in the eighteenth century, Dangerous Intimacies: Toward a Sapphic History of the British Novel and Sister Arts: The Erotics of Lesbian Landscapes. The winner of the Lambda Literary Foundation Award and the Art/Lines Juried Poetry Prize, she is also co-editor of Experiments in a Jazz Aesthetic: Art, Activism, Academia and the Austin Project and Transatlantic Feminisms in the Age of Revolution. Currently Professor of English and Women's and Gender Studies at The University of Texas at Austin, Lisa Moore has published essays in GLQ, Eighteenth-Century Studies, the Women's Review of Books, and many other venues. Her poetry has appeared in Broadsided, Sinister Wisdom, Lavender Review and other journals and anthologies.
