Award-winning author Lizbeth Selvig writes fun, heartwarming contemporary romantic fiction for Avon books. Her debut novel, "The Rancher and the Rock Star," was released in 2012. Her second book, "Rescued By A Stranger" was a Romance Writers of America RITA® Award nominee. Two more books in the Kennison Falls small-town romance series are also available. Lizbeth lives in Minnesota with her best friend (aka her husband Jan) and a gray Arabian gelding named Jedi. After working as a newspaper journalist and magazine editor, and raising an equine veterinarian daughter and a talented musician son, Lizbeth entered Romance Writers of America's Golden Heart® contest in 2010 with The Rancher and the Rock Star (then titled Songbird) and won the Single Title Contemporary category. In her spare time, she loves being a first-time grandma as well as hiking, quilting, reading, horseback riding, and playing with her four-legged grandchildren, of which there are over twenty-five, including a wallaby, two alpacas, a large goat, a mammoth-eared donkey, a pot-bellied pig, three sugar gliders, and many dogs, cats and horses. Pics of all appear on her website www.lizbethselvig.com. Watch now for her brand new seven-part series from Avon: Seven Brides for Seven Cowboys. The first two in the series "The Bride Wore Denim" and "The Bride Wore Red Boots" are available now. "The Bride Wore Starlight," will arrive in February 2016 and is available for pre-order.
