So I previously read this book years ago when I was overseas. I found it in the library on base and I remember thinking, huh, looks okay, it's thick and hey, it's a romance novel, win, win. It took me forever to get through the book at the time (forever meaning two weeks because I kept stopping and ...

I bought this book, the only reason for that was it was an epistolary novel and I have a strange liking towards them. As I feel a letter can bring out the deepest feeling in a person than he/she ever knew they had. I admit I even started liking it initially i was sure of enjo...

We are introduced to Alex and Rosie through the notes they pass back and forth in grade school. Alex and Rosie are best friends. As they grow, so does their means of communication. They progress from notes, to letters through to emails and IM’s and then surprisingly back to letters again. As clo...

I'm a sucker for a book written in letters, notes or e-mails. So this book had a great beginning and then when Alex let info re "the letter" drop it went downhill. It was this back and forth of almosts. Very frustrating. Even the ending couldn't make up for it.

I didn't really enjoy this book at all. In the beginning it was quite interesting and funny reading through notes from Rosie in her childhood and becoming a teen. But that's where to good stuff ends, the rest of the book I felt was just a mash of Rosie complaining, making stupid choices and stay...

All written as texts or emails. Found the cycles that they went through infuriating.

I tried to rated it higher but I couldn't. The story itself is interesting but God sometimes I had to stop reading because there's only so much frustration a person can take! The amount of angst in the book was too much (and I am one of those persons who enjoys books likes that). But all the comin...

The trope and the film trailer are what got me to read this book. I love friends to lovers stories but I forgot Ahern writes these gimmick books. I should have remembered what happened with P.S. I love you, which is in part an epistolary novel: I didn't like it. I hated Love, Rosie. Rosie's and Al...
