For the record, I really enjoyed this book overall thus my 4-star rating. Also, I love Lauren Dane's heroines...strong, independent and they own their sexuality unlike many heroines in the contemporary romance genre. That being said, I was Team Mary all the way until the last few chapters from the en...

And again, a book peopled with strong women and alpha men. Bainbridge Island must be a wonderland! The problem though, is that these "strong women" are perpetually ready to lecture other other people about how strong they are, the word "bitch" is used too often to describe this strength, and they ar...

Another goodie from Lauren Dane, featuring a strong heroine and a hot love interest. I loved the character development, wasn't too crazy about the unrealistic dialogue, but adored how Dane showcased the madness that comes with dating (and befriending) a famous person.

Rating: 2 out of 5.This book is an average contemporary romance about a bad boy rock star and a good independent girl who has her own catering business. They meet, sparks ignite because they are the one. There was the usual jealousy over Damien’s groupies and misunderstandings that were all prettily...

3.5 StarsFull review at Tempting ReadsThis book is what a contemporary romance should be. The whole focus is on Damien and Mary and their journey into love. Each element--the food, the band, their shared friends--served to enhance the main story, in this case the two of them falling in love, instea...

How does a sexy in demand rock star and a chef make a relationship work? Not easily. It can be a recipe for disaster since Damien Hurley fills up the tabloids with his groupie sex. The proverbial bad boy who sowed his oats now wants to settle down. It's not so easy finding a "good girl" for a re...

This is a wonderful character driven erotic romance about a woman who has her own well developed life who likes a rock drummer but not the lifestyle he has led. He knows she is the woman for him after meeting her at the wedding of a friend and we are off. This is a good romance about trust and chan...

We were introduced to Mary in Adrian Brown's book, Never Enough. Mary is a cook. She runs her own catering company and a supper club. She's best friends with Gillian, Daisy and Jules (characters who've already been featured in their own books). Mary is too busy with her business to have a relationsh...

A cute catering darling falls for the hard rocking, bad rumoured drummer.Great whirlwind romance with a man willing to do anything to get the one he loves. Since it´s the third book in a series, a lot of name dropping and family connections that can be hard to keep up with, but I´m planning on readi...
