Rating 3.5A nice enough oldie, with a heroine who is impulsive and lost her job and runs an ad in the paper for one. She decides to go balloning with the hero, who is a lawyer. They have this adversial relationship since she presumes to judge him based on his last controversial case. He wants a phys...

More like a 4.5 star-read for me.Why you ask?Was it that the h was so beautiful? NOWas it that the H was so dashing? NOWas it that their conversation was scintillating? Way-hullll...Umm.. yeah, sort of but:This book has one of the scariest and best described atmospheres ever. Trust me, I felt like I...

I’ll never understand why Harlequin goes out of its way to make its books sound as generic as possible. I would have guessed from the blurb that I’d read this exact same story a hundred times, and it was just luck that I picked it up.Penny and Ryan fell in love at first sight, but Penny never felt t...

I actually liked this book. MK does exactly the right amount of angst for my taste - I don't like whiny heroines and her (his?) stories are pretty logical in that respect. Also, the hero is a charmer and there's wry humor in the book (reminds you of an old movie).

All I can say is: AWWWWWWWWWWW!what a cute read, combining the following elements:-an independent h-H's perspective (you can see by his reactions how he's feeling)-Hero's background is really appalling-mature writing in a realistic setting-all the loose ends tied up-the explanations in the end made ...

What an amazing book. I was literally struck dumb when I read some of the text. So not what you'd expect from a book written in 1989. The way it's written, I could just about smell, taste and see what Japan was like. I really wanna go there now...well, after the earthquake I'm not sure if it's safe ...

Intense Vintage Harlequin Romance that reads like a Harlequin Presents. It certainly has all the trappings: incredibly beautiful but cold and unawakened heroine, dark, brooding, and scary hero. Revenge, oh the revenge. Leo, the hero calls himself "The Eagle", and he tells Sabrina that he's her ene...
