I've been writing for over 20 years, as Madeline Baker and Amanda Ashley. In that time, I've written over 60 novels. I've written for Leisure Books, Signet Books, St. Martin's Press, and Silhouette, and I currently write paranormal romances as Amanda Ashley for Zebra Books. Many of my backlist titles have been published by EC Blush.I'm happy to say that a number of my books have appeared on various bestseller lists, including the New York Times Bestseller List and USA Today. When I'm not writing, I love reading (of course), going to movies and plays and spending time with my family. I'm also an avid Star Wars fan and have quite a large collection of Star Wars memorabilia.

So beautifully rich in historical detail and characters so real, they pop off the page. I loved this book and as I've started the second, I am plunged back into the world of Shadow and Hannah. Wonderful reading. Thank you, Ms. Baker for a tale I'll read over and over again.
