The author seemed to find her footing in this third installment of the series. Our hero's battle with opiates was flushed out more (still not quite fully) and the relationship between the hero and heroine had deeper meaning, too. The Irish plight and the issue with the heroine's brother was pushed t...

2.5 starsI love the heroines in these books, they are put through horrific circumstances but their strength is always evident, even when they are at their lowest; this author writes women phenomenally. Two Christmas-themed novellas in a single book. Delilah Marvelle's story about a shy duke and a former opera singer that he has loved forever is sweet (4.5 stars) but Maire Clairemont's had so many grammar errors and typos that I couldn't finish it (1 star).

The Twelve Days of Seduction is a sweet story about love and acceptance. This is a novella by Maire Claremont who is a new to me author. Alexander Hunt, Eighth Duke of Berresford finds out that the governess he hired for his ward is an authoress and has been lying about her identity by passing her...
