Because she doesn't have that much history, so there's not that much to squeeze into a couple pages. Still, I find these very much to gloss over a lot of important parts, so I can't really say I enjoy them enough to give them a four or five stars.
But it only went over the first mini-series, and didn't cover anything after. So it's okay. Basics, but I wish it had gone over more of her history.
With the jokes and the surprise villain at the end . You can't get too much more old school than him! Pretty much, I expected to hate this series, because of how much it features Cyclops and his angsty little 'am I doomed to be crazy older me who dies for his crazy?' Instead, I'm loving it. Y...
It's something the younger version of Scott Summers doesn't want, or want to deal with on any level. It's all awful: the world is broken and hateful, especially to mutants now, and it's all his fault. He watched his older self cross over so many lines, have some kind of psychotic break, and boy,...
And, well, I hate Cyclops. This is very Scott Summers-centric, and ugh. This should have worked. It didn't. It was fun, but it seemed to lack a spark for me, and I couldn't really get into this series. I doubt I'll continue, but I may as issues come up on MU.
