Mercy -- Julie Garwood Book 2 of Buchanan-Renard series 2001 Release -- Pocket Books Adult, Romantic Suspense, Contemporary, Mystery I can't say that I really enjoyed this book, but I can't say that I didn't either. I'm giving it a really "meh" rating, but only because I was kind of disappointed...

Julie Garwood is easily one of my favorite romantic suspense authors.
I have found some of Garwoods contemporaries to be contrived and a bit dull but this one wasn't. The characterization was good and the story had good pacing. I will look at other books in this series for sure.
