Michael J. Hathaway was raised in central Kansas where he lives happily in his childhood home with his little family of felines (or "cosmic children" as he refers to them). He works as Keeper of History for Stafford County and part-time for his veterinarian. He's worked many day jobs to enable his poetry habit including typesetter, society editor and librarian. He serves on the city library board and is an ordained minister of Spiritual Science. He founded Chiron Review literary journal in 1982. He's had 11 books of poetry and prose published as well as 300+ poems in journals and anthologies. He was founding chairman of Poetry Rendezvous that celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2013.
