A native of Colorado, Michael Livingston holds degrees in History, Medieval Studies, and English. He grew up across the West, wanting few things more than to write and teach. He's thrilled to get paid to do both.In his academic life, Mike is an Assistant Professor of English and Associate Director of the Honors Program at The Citadel. He's published on a range of subjects from the 1st to the 21st centuries, though he specializes in the history and literature of Medieval England.In his fiction-writer life, Mike is an award-winning writer who has published in a variety of genres and venues: from a historical retelling of Beowulf to a story about quantum physics in the world-renowned journal of science, Nature.In his personal life, he enjoys many outdoor activities, from fly-fishing wild rivers in his shorts to four-wheeling wild trails in his Jeep.
