This is my first time reading one of Jayne Ann Krentz's futuristic novels, written under the pseudonym, Jayne Castle. I don't normally like to start a series in the middle for the very reasons I had some issues with this book, but it was the next one in line in the Arcane Socitey books (which span h...

This is the third in an Arcane Society trilogy that involves the Burning Lamp. Each is written in Jayne Ann Krentz's alternative worlds, the victorian under the Amanda Quick name, contemporary under Jayne Ann Krentz and the futuristic under the Jayne Castle name. All three involve Men from The Win...

The stars of the books are always the dust bunnies :) I wasn't as invested in these characters, although it was a good read. The overall storyline was fun, and it was great ...

I love the Arcane Society books but I seem to find that the Jayne Castle books are not my favorites. I can't quite put my finger on why because I love the world of Harmony (especially the dust bunnies - and there's another great one here) but I never connect with the couples from these books the w...

Good solid wrap-up to the Dreamlight Trilogy. I expected a little more suspense involving the lamp, especially given events in the first two books. The focus was more on Guild politics. Overall, a fun read.

I was going to give Midnight Crystal three stars simply because the world building feels so real, I'm taking it for granted. Really enjoyable. Love the dust bunny. Found the characters appealing.
