Call her Ms. S. mutans for short.
She lives in Mouthland.
Miss S. mutans is a very busy bacterium.
She likes to eat food stuck between teeth.
She loves to taste whatever is sweet.
All day long, Miss S. mutans eats, pees, and poops.
The pees and poops that Ms. S. mutans leaves when left long make holes on the teeth.
We call it cavities.
So for a sparkling smile,
brush your teeth
after you eat
especially before you sleep;
rinse and spit the mess that Ms. S. mutans made.

From the Author

This is a book that I and my 3-year-old daughter made and would really love to share. It started out when she kept asking me why we have to brush our teeth. To answer her question, we made out rhymes and we doodle and color and now have this book. I did the illustrations and let my daughter color using her basic crayons. I just let her enjoy coloring whatever her heart and creativity wished. It didn't matter if the colors went outside the boarders or it didn't fill up much a space or it went left or right. I just made sure she had a wonderful time.
