Good mystery, with a different twist. The protagonist is homeless, a former mental patient. She's accused of being a serial killer, and her back story is told in flashbacks. It's well told, in a surprisingly short novel. I enjoyed it.Recommended if you like mysteries or crime novels.

Nominee for an Edgar for best novel this year. A homeless woman who survives by her wits becomes the prime suspect in a man’s death in Stockholm. Will probably make my best of list for 2009. Truly compelling characters and setting. Will look forward to reading more of her books.
