I would rather give this 4.5 stars, but Goodreads won't let me. :-/Great characters. Swiftly-moving plot. Compelling suspense. Southern-spun humor.I loved it. I would love for Joshilyn Jackson to do a sequel and revisit these women.

A story about mothers and daughters told from different perspectives. The author captures the voices of the main characters well and makes them human and believable. It’s about family, consequences, and the strength that comes from facing difficult times together. I loved the spirit of these women.

I absolutely loved the dialog, particularly what Mosey said. The narration by the author was superb. Definitely a "feel-good" book. DO read it. No, you must listen to it!!!

I enjoyed this one but it wasn't what I was expecting. Just enough twist and turns to keep me reading.
