Gashaki – Gumpti national park located in Taraba State, Nigeria, is the country’s largest and most diverse national park that offers fascinating insight into life in the medieval times in Nigeria. The park is located between the mountain of death known as Chappal Wadi and the Mountain of Wind called Chappal Hendu. The park is situated amidst spectacular scenery vegetation which consist of an intricate framework of the guinea savannah, montane grassland, gallery forest and home to the highest populations of primates in West Africa.
