There were pieces of this book that was so familiar-have I read this in high school and since forgotten it? This was a really charming book of a time most of us won't know set in the wilds of Canada. I enjoyed this and found it a quick read.

One of my mum's old books. About a girl from Boston(?) who marries a Canadian Mountainier. It's quite enjoyable, but this time round I discovered just how bad the language is at times. I think perhaps I'm growing too old for it.
