reread thoughts: LOCKJAW!!!!!old review: I already loved the first one A LOT.But this one felt even better for me. I still just love and adore Kamala as a character. I just love her personality and everything about her. The moment she came face to face with Wolverine and started to fangirl. That was...

This volume started off with a really strong first chapter. It was hilarious and campy.I was much less impressed with the rest of the volume, however. I went from enjoying the absurdism of the universe to cringing at the plot.Basically: teenagers are being used by the villain as batteries, and this ...

I like this series so far. I read Volume 1 a few years ago and then just never got around to reading any more. I find the style hard to look at sometimes. It feels very busy. I am enjoying all the references to other Marvel works and cameos (even if I don't understand all of them).

Yeah! Back to read about Kamala and her adventures as Ms. Marvel. This second volume had everything I ever wanted. We have Kamala trying to track down and stop The Inventor with an assist by X-Men, Wolverine. Wolverine was freaking hilarious in this comic and I cracked up a bunch of times watching h...

It was interesting to see the source of her powers but I felt it was a bit of a cheat (and almost a "well you're not just this minority group, but this minority group too") though the talk with t...

And it's hard: I read so many comics, and love so many comics, I have a huge, huge list of favorites. Still, this is somewhere near the top of that list. It's truly laugh out loud funny, it's got a strong, nerdy heroine, and on top of that bunch of awesome, it's got a Pakistani Muslim-American...

I already loved the first one A LOT. But this one felt even better for me. I still just love and adore Kamala as a character. I just love her personality and everything about her. The moment she came face to face with Wolverine and started to fangirl. That was just such a normal things to do for s...

I don't know, man. I just wasn't feeling this one. I can't really put my finger on why either. There was development of the Inventor. There were things that could have been awesome, but I just wasn't in the mood. I'm guessing that's it. Maybe I'll try when I'm in the mood for Ms. Marvel, but right n...

Still loving the art style to this. So glad to see a super hero that isn't the typical be-lipsticked woman in a comic.
