A decent volume, but there was just a lot in this issue that seemed to come out of left field. However, getting the humanization of the Cortlaws and their struggles was well worth it.
A fantastic wrapup to what's been the overarching story since I think volume 2. Teeki finally proves himself to be a truly powerful foe and the fate of pretty much everything hangs in the balance as Muhyo and his team try to finish an ultimate weapon to send him below.
I never thought I'd be this invested in Goryo and Ebisu winning a fight, but I think the epic one they have in this volumes is one of my favorites in the whole series.
