Bianca Penhale is a celebrity author living the good life in Trewenna, a stunning fishing village in Cornwall. The locals love her but lately she has been behaving rather strangely. Her previous lovers all vanished mysteriously, and so the gossips have started their own little personal diatribe as to the reasons. And if there’s one thing Bianca hates it’s gossips, with their nasty tongues wagging behind her back. If she had her way she’d use her dark secret on them. That would teach them a lesson they’d never forget in a hurry. But the dark secret must remain buried where it will be protected at all costs. Then Maldini the Magician worms his way into her lonely heart with his sexual prowess. Bianca thinks he’s the one to lead her down the aisle -- that’s all she wants out of life -- the love of a good man. He soon discovers her secret and blackmails her like the squirming slime ball that he is. This triggers Bianca’s full on darkness with bloody consequences, but Maldini being a magician, has a few tricks up his sleeve. And so begins a war of nerves and nightmares between Bianca and Maldini. Bianca’s troubles go viral when her conniving cousin, Hugh, arrives begging for money. The lazy git’s devious antics attract all manner of problems that soon spirals out of control, sending poor Bianca into a deep well of despair. “Woe is me,” she often says to her utter consternation. And if things weren’t bad enough, she must do battle with local witches, vindictive ghosts, grave-digging werewolves, a suave Welsh vampire, phantom zombies and last but not least, sneaky little Piskies. Bianca’s once cosy life of wealth and fame has been turned upside down. Can she hold on to her dark side and survive the onslaught? Or will the demons she created destroy her?

In his new book, “Murder Most Deadly,” Simon Okill really stirs the caldron, proving that psychotic writers, murder, ghosts, and greed can actually make you laugh. Yet Casper the Friendly Ghost this book most certainly is not! It starts out with Bianca, a rich, psychotic writer enjoying her entitlem...

To meet the book felt like it was inside of a movie. The author does a great job describing the scenes and makin...

5.0 Excellent
"Murder Most Deadly" by Simon Okill is a fun-filled horror story that will have you in stitches. Just like the publicity for this story promises, there is a distinct hint of Hammer Horror in this, although better plotting and characters that are a little more evolved than Hammer occasionally deliver...

Simon Okill has a...what do I want to call it? A way with words doesn't quite cover it. More like the ability to give us a splash of life not often seen. And, his Murder Most Deadly is no exception. Full of technicolor images filled with gore, violence and comedy, this book is a must read for fans...
