J.D.Robb is a Master.. no a Goddess when its come to romantic suspense books. No wonder even after hit 30 books, In Death series is still going strong and no sign its go downhill. Well, she does create 2 main characters that will always be my favorites, Eve and Roarke.Full review coming soon (and le...

I liked the book - kept me entertained. The plot was icky but totally satisfying in the end. I loved the ties back to Eve's past and how she overcame it with help of Roarke and Mira. It was neat to see Eve work outta another city and how well it went. Totally in charge despite that. I can't wait to ...

When Isaac McQueen, Eve's first collar escapes from prison and grabs a hostage, Eve head to Dallas Texas to confront this nasty pedophile. McQueen collects, rapes and holds his victims though he doesn't kill them. He has a serious hard-on for Eve though not in a sexual way. Rookie Eve Dallas broug...

I absolutely adore the interaction between Roarke and Eve. Eve is brought back to the first real case that helped define who she would become. The escape of Isaac McQueen triggers events to take her back to the childhood nightmare of her father, and mother, and back to her namesake, Dallas. With R...

Loved the connection to Eve's past, even though it was fairly predictable. Plus, LOVED the scene where Eve was counseling the little girl she rescued - it's everything that makes her who she is. Plus, lots of Roarke. Oh, Roarke...yum. :)

I love this series, but this book felt off to me. Maybe it's because it is the first I have read instead of listening to the audiobook. The dialog didn't feel as smooth and Eve cursed a lot more frequently than I remember in other books. As far as the story, the plot and pace were spot on as usual.

Eve’s first ever arrest as a rookie cop in New York was an accident. During a house-to-house investigation she stumbled across a depraved paedophile who was collecting young girls in his apartment for his enjoyment. This arrest kick-started Eve’s career in homicide and brought back the first memorie...

*Rating* 3.5*Genre* Mystery/Romance*Review*Full review and thoughts later. Real world and personal issues take first priority. Sucks to be me.1. Unrealistic to me: Eve going to Dallas and taking over the investigation from the Dallas PD and the FBI just because 12 years ago she, as a rookie cop righ...

The first thing that struck me about this 33rd volume is that Ms. Robb chose not to use the customary "in Death" in this title. Once you read the book, you will understand the meaning of "New York to Dallas". I have read the entire series and while there have been intense moments in a lot of the ...
